We were ecstatic to have the opportunity to purchase Jujube from the Roeburn herd in the fall of 2020. With over 14,000 pounds of lifetime milk already we are excited to have her “on line” in our creamery and are excited to be able to incorporate her proven genetics into our herd. Jujube has an exceptional wide and level rump and tremendous depth of body, along with the lovely mammary system and texture we have found consistently in our Chateau Briant daughters.

She shares a very proven sire (CH Chateau Briant’s Jaylen +B) with our beloved Baylen. She earned a restricted leg but has not seen the show ring many times to have had the opportunity to finish a championship. Jujube’s sound genetics and proven lactation and appraisal scores make her a valuable asset to our herd. Jujube will be bred to Tempo Aquila Free Trip for Spring 2023 kids. These will likely be Jujube’s last breeding - be sure to reserve kids early!

Ally has a special place in the herd, as a consistent high producer on the milk line and doing us more than proud in the show ring. Ally won a BIS title as a dry yearling and then continued to do well as a milking doe, finishing her championship in 2021 and even beating out her sister Joy for a BOB title. To make her even more special Ally has given us two beautiful daughters including Serendipity who earned her on BJDIS title this year. We are extremely proud of Ally’s “Excellent” store in mammary in the fall after a long year milking hard and showing often.

We are extremely grateful to our friend Shannon Stevens who trusted us with Lickety Split. She is a powerful doe with tremendous spring of rib. She consistently gets comments from judges about her correct rear legs. Lickety split has a snugly attached mammary system with good teat placement and appears to be the type of doe who will stand the test of time. A daughter of SGCH Point N Thyme EC Etch a Sketch and CH Redwood Hills X-Rated Azarro, this pretty doe sure has the stacked pedigree to back her up. Lickety Split is now a pending finished champion with her wins in both rings at the NYSDGBA show this year as a 3 year old.

Spunky is an exciting experimental doe with an exciting pedigree. She is a promising daughter of *B Redwood Hills Chimay Riptide and her dam, Bellhurst Quintessential truly blossomed this year in her new herd and is now a pending finished champion with a BIS win. Despite being stale at our summer shows Spunky earned a Reserve Champion Rosette. Spunky has beautiful body capacity with a striking profile. She also has a beautiful mammary system with excellent teat size and placement. Spunky will certainly be a competitive member of our 2023 show string with a spring freshening next year.

Bellhurst Typical

2-05 GVGG V in rear legs, E in rump

Experimental Alpine

Typical is a daughter of GCH (pend) Bellhurst Quintessential and our goal in the breeding was to improve Tess in her width of chest and Trip did just that. Typical placed 5th dry yearling at the 2022 National Show!

Typical freshened with a mammary system consistent with our other trip daughters, glued on, round and arched into the escutcheon. She kept looking better and better throughout the year and went on to beat out Spunky three times for reserve champion wins in the senior doe division. We loved her persistence in the milking parlor and plan to retain a doe kid if she’ll give us one sired by Acclaim.

Terrific is our first retained, fresh daughter of GCH Overjoyed and Redwood Hills Beau Cooper. She showed us a great will to milk and a beautiful wide, rear udder. She is longer and taller than her dam but still slightly immature looking due to her size. She’s very nervous and does not like going to shows but still managed to earn one reserve champion rosette. We retained one of her 2022 daughters sired by Trip.

Bellhurst Utopia aka Tropical is a flashy doe who has made us very proud. Tropical placed THIRD in the senior kid class at the 2022 national show and consistently placed 1 or 2nd behind herdmate Moet in our spring 2022 shows. Tropical shows a nice balance in body capacity and strength. With the production, components and wonderful texture of her dam we were very excited to see Tropical fresh and she did not disappoint. Tropical freshened with a beautiful globular shaped Udder with capacity that continued to increase as her lactation progressed.

Roeburn's KVLW Zoe

DOB: 3/7/20

ADGA Genetics

Zoe is an incredibly exciting 2 year old. Her dam Zorah is an absolutely exceptional daughter of SG Chateau Briant’s Jujube and Zoe is an AI daughter of the famous ++*B Kickapoo Valley Lord Whimsey. Zoe, as a 2 year old, can easily be mistaken for the stunning GCH Roeburn’s KVLW Bathsheba - they are so similar in general appearance. Lord Whimsey has 9 GCH offspring, many high appraising (including at least 2 EX92 daughters that I had the privilege of owning). Zoe kidded with quads in 2023.

Bellhurst Tiramisu

DOB : 2/26/21

2-06 GVVG 84 V in front and rear legs, E in rump

American Alpine

Tiramisu is the daughter we were hoping we would get when we crossed Raspberry with *B Redwood Hills Beau Cooper and she even came out cou clair like the famous +*B Olentangy OAA Chimay , 2019 National Premiere Alpine Sire, who appears on the top and bottom of her papers!

Tiramisu is a massive framed doe with beautiful spring of rib and length of body. She is powerful yet sharp and angular with excellent dairy strength. To top it off Tiramisu managed to earn her championship leg among extremely stiff alpine junior doe competition.

Show wins:

2021 Alpine Junior Champion - Allegany County Fair (restricted leg)

Bellhurst Spooky

DOB: 3/13/15

LA: 2-05 VVVV85

3-05GEVG 85 E in back

American Alpine

Spooky is an extremely exciting daughter who keeps getting better with age. Spooky is massive framed doe with great length of rump from hips to pins and a beautiful, powerful front end. Spooky is often picked out in the pen by folks asking “oh, who is that one?” Spooky made us very proud in the milking parlor this year and was our top producing first freshener.

Rapunzel has been a doe to watch as she matures. As a dry yearling she has grown into one of the tallest does in the barn and exhibits the greatest width of chest floor. She has tremendous spring of rib and width through her loin and rump. Her paternal half sister Quinn has our favorite mammary system in the barn and Rapunzel freshened with a terrific rear udder arch and milked respectably for her first lactation. A second freshening, this time with twins, proved that Rapunzel is a valuable doe for our dairy, freshening easily and milking well through all sorts of conditions. We are most proud of the fact that the August 2022 genetics evaluations put her PTI 1:2 84 and 2:1 124 - making her our highest homebred doe based on these genetic evaluations. I’m thrilled to see the LA and DHI data indicating that our breeding program is moving in the right direction. With our goal of showing a more managable show string, Rapunzel didn’t leave the barn much in 2022, she will milk through for 2023 and freshen in the fall.

Show Wins:

2020 - 1x JCH (restricted leg, 1xRCH spring fling dairy goat show

Olentangy Master Tallulah

DOB : 4/6/21

American Alpine

2-04 AGGA 81 V in rear legs and rump

She is a daughter of Olentangy Fortune Tellur 9*M (2-02 EX90VEVE) a stunning doe in her own right and a maternal half sister to the incredible SGCH Olentangy Yukon Tellingly 9*M. Tallulah's sire *B Tempo Aquila Mastercraftsman, a son of a doe who needs no introduction SGCH Tempo Aquila Living Free and a buck I have long since admired ++*B SG Tempo Aquila Handyman.

Long story short, with her stacked pedigree we cannot wait to see where Tallulah goes! She is an April 2021 doe kid and will remain dry for 2022. She's been outshown by older more mature does (who were shown by adults not toddlers) but have every confidence her time in the show ring will come.

Joy has been a special doe from the start earning her restricted leg by going junior champion as a 3 month old doe kid at her very first show. Her sweet, easy going temperament has always made her a barn favorite. Joy’s greatest strength is her general appearance and is an easy goat for anyone to show with a correct, square set of feet and legs and a long, level and wide topline. She has a beautiful, wide rear udder with well delineated teats.
